Autumn in the upper-Midwest

I loved this picture from my brother taken in the woods of Minnesota.

This passage from Paradise Lost (XI:330-333, spoken by Adam) seemed like an appropriate caption.

“For though I fled him angry, yet recalled
To life prolonged and promised race, I now
Gladly behold though but his utmost skirts
Of glory; and far off his steps adore.”
